The Princess Proclaims.....
"My mind went on vacation but now it's back!"
"Mom, when I grow up, I'm going to be a Princess Ballerina Fairy Mermaid Astronaut."
"Mom, I'm really sad right now. I wanted to marry Prince Eric. I want to have a real baby. I want to fall in love."
"Mom, I love learning about God and singing about God. Everyone needs to learn about God!"
"Mom, when we say I Love You to each other, it makes my heart sing!"
"Dad, I have to tell you something. Did you know when you eat, your ears wiggle?"

Obsessed
Everyone, I'm sure, has one thing or another that they are obsessed with to some degree. Me, I have to check the doors a few times at night to make sure they are locked, and I check E multiple times before I go to bed to make sure she is ok. E, well her obsession is that she HAS to, I mean HAS TO, tell me every single night "I'll tell you when I have to go potty, Mom" or she CANNOT GO TO SLEEP. It is annoying and funny at the same time. If she doesn't say it while I'm putting her to bed, or if her dad puts her to bed, she will NOT go to sleep until she yells out to me, "I'll tell you when I have to go potty, Mom" and I can rest assured that she will!

Princess E
My MIL (mother-in-law) sent E a treasure chest with three princess dress-up outfits. Dressing up as royalty is one of E's favorite things to do. Today, she is wearing her purple princess dress, outfitted in her tiara and jewels. She really is a girly, girl. Daddy is definitely going to need another job to keep this Princess in clothes and jewels. :o)

The Princess and Her Daddy
E LOVES her daddy. She calls him her "playmate" and she is blessed to have a daddy who gets right down on the floor with her and plays with dolls and beads and puzzles and card games...pretty much anything E wants to do. They sure have a lot of fun together. So I thought I'd post some of my favorite photos of E and her Daddy.

Up, Up And Away
This Is The Life
Whenever E is in the pool, she'll invariably say "This Is The Life." She LOVES the water, the outdoors, whether we are at the beach or riding our bikes or just in our pool, as long as she can feel the sun on her face. Which is part of the reason we ended up leaving Seattle to move back to Florida. We BOTH needed to feel that sun, every day. It may be hot this time of year. We may be dripping with sweat whenever we step outside. But E and I agree....This Is The Life!

Enough already......
New Look
The Princess twirls her hair....a lot. As her hair gets longer, the amount of screaming when I brush is proportionate to the length of her hair. One day, I had enough. Out came the scissors and I chopped a good bit of it off. She cried, at first. She thinks getting your hair cut hurts, but once she realized it was painless, she decided she likes it. So do I. Less hair, less crying when brushing. She looks beautiful if I do say so myself but then I could be biased.
